Behind the Shoji 2014

The Portland Japanes Garden's Behind the Shoji art sale open this Friday, July 18th. This annual art sale and show is a favorite with both members and visitors alike and showcases Pacific Northwest Artists who create beautiful Japanese-inspired jewelry, ceramics, painting, photography, paper crafts, furniture and more.

This year we will have some amazing locally harvested Western Walnut furniture featured including our Tansu cabinet and Kyoto Stools. Every weekend there will be artist demonstrations, and on Saturday, July 19th, one of our craftsmen will be there demonstrating how we assemble our Kyoto Stools. To learn more about his show visit the Portland Japanese Garden here.
