Mark and Leigh Anne came to The Joinery early in 2010 after a rigorous search for craftsmen and woodworking shops around the country. After their visit, Mark and Leigh Anne decided they wanted to work with The Joinery to create some great custom pieces using locally harvested Western Walnut.

Mark and Leigh Anne purchased many pieces from the Joinery including their dining table, breakfast nook table, custom Live Edge Mirrors, coat racks, custom Scrap projects, mission coffee tables and end tables, along with a Mission bedroom set for their guest room. When asked about their favorite piece, Mark said it was clearly their bed. Mark & Leigh Anne hand selected the board and chose to highlight the knot in the footboard. The extreme curves and color variation on the footboard add a lot of character. The end result, as Mark put it, "..is a well-made, functional, piece of art....it is more than furniture to us."
