The Joinery uses only high-grade lumber and each builder hand selects boards based on color and grain match. The hardwoods we offer include Cherry, Madrone, Maple, Quartered White Oak, Fumed Oak, Eastern Walnut, and Western Walnut. Other available woods include Reclaimed Fir, Reclaimed Cedar, and figured woods for special accents.

Forest Stewardship is critical to the long-term health of our business and this planet. Sustainable forestry provides lumber products while protecting wildlife habitat, ensuring clean air, and preserving natural beauty for generations to come. Our Cherry, Maple, and Eastern Walnut are certified to the Forest Stewardship Council™(FSC®) standards; our Western Walnut and Madrone are responsibly—and locally—harvested in the Pacific Northwest. Our Cherry and Maple comes from Collins in Kane, PA.

Our Wood Finish

The beauty of hardwoods is brought to life with our hand-rubbed finish composed of a unique blend of clear oils. We use an all-natural oil finish to provide excellent protection and durability while maintaining the natural beauty of the wood. Our oil finish does not show fingerprints, requires minimal upkeep, and is easy to repair.
